[rsnapshot-discuss] 1.3.1 - problem copying new files

Hello. I'm running rsnapshot 1.3.1. I enabled sync_first and ran rsnapshot sync. All directories were synchronized to the local directory properly.

I added some files to one of the backed up directories. rsnapshot has run several hourly snapshots. I'm not seeing the new files anywhere in these backups.

Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

Replying to my own question. I figured out that you have to run rsnapshot sync before you run every hourly backup.
